Production volume in Argentina in 2003 -16,768 passenger vehicles and 23,079 pick-ups. In 1916 Ford launched in Argentina the assembly of the model T, and in 1962 - the production of the Falcon. In the years 1994-2002 the Escort was built here. In 2000 the company rolled out the first Argentinian Focus in two body variants: a 5-door hatchback and a sedan, with a broad selection of engines including: 1.8-liter 115 hp, 2.0-liter 130 hp, TD 1.8-liter 115 hp and TD 1.8-liter 90 hp, and two additional options for export: a 1.6-liter 103 hp engine and a 2.0-liter 126-130 hp unit fueled with a gasoline-alcohol blend. The Ranger pick-up, in production since 1997, was updated in 2004 and comes with a 2.3-liter 145 hp or a TD 2.8-liter 132-135 hp.
