MOTO PLAST 126 EXTREME TARGA

Program: AS Cabrio, Porsche 356 Speedster, 126 Extreme (targa, hatchback).

Production volume in 2003 - 4 vehicles and 6 kit cars.

The company, operating since 1979, produced buggy vehicles in the 1980s. Since 1995 their offer has included the AS Cabrio (originally called Toy), which is available as a kit car on a reinforced Fiat 126 chassis, or, since 2004, on a new, specially designed one. The company offers conversions of the Fiat 126 into the AS Cabrio. Its body is made of epoxide and fibre-glass composites; a side door and a hard- or softtop can be acquired for an extra charge. In 1998 a kit replica of the Porsche 356 ca­brio from 1963 premiered as the 356 Speedster, based on the VW Beetle chassis. Since 2000 the company’s offer has also included the Fiat 126 conversions into a targa body variant - the 126 Extre­me. The model features areinforced platform and sills and is fitted with plastic body elements. In 2001 the closed 126 Extreme version was unveiled.
