MIRKA COBRA 427C
Program: Cobra 427C.
Production volume in 2003 - 1 vehicle and 3 kit cars.
The company, set up in 1996, has manufactured kit cars since
1996. In 2000 Mirka bought a
license for the production of AC Cobra replicas (1962-69) from the German
company MM. The kit car has a plastic body and a frame accommodating a Rover
3.9-liter V8 engine or a Ford/Chevrolet 5.0- to 7.0-liter V8 unit. The car
uses the Jaguar XJ6 suspension (in the 400 hp engine versions) or Ford suspension
(for over 400 hp engine versions). In 2005 the company will unveil a replica of the Auburn
Speedster roadster from the 1930s, with an indigenous frame and Ford or GM power plants.
In 2006
a
roadster imitating the Lotus Seven will be introduced. Since 2000 the company’s product range has also included ready-built
vehicles, assembled from kits produced by manufacturers from Poland, Germany
and Great Britain. Prices: kit cars - Cobra 427C from PLN 13,000; ready-built vehicles
- Cobra 427C from PLN 70,000.
