Production volume in 2003 - 10 vehicles and 25 kit cars.
In the years 1994-96 Pro Car produced 36 units of the Pirat
roadster. In March 1996 the company’s name was changed to JAK
Projekt. In 1996 they unveiled the modernized, sleek Nestor. The vehicle’s plastic and aluminum body is based on a unique,
steel frame, housing Polonez components. Engine options include: Lancia
2.0-liter, Ford 1.6-2.0-liter,
Rover, GM, BMW 1.8-liter
or Polonez 1.6-liter
82 hp. In 1997 the 4-seat Nestor
Majestic was introduced, and in 1998 the stretched, 5-seat Nestor Majestic, with a broadened
and lowered rear. In 2005 the modernized, broadened Nestor II was demonstrated, fitted with a V6
engine from Ford or BMW. Since December 1998 the cross-country 1/2-seat Dzik
has been in production. It is based on the Fiat 126 and since 2000 its racing version
has been dubbed Szayowoz. In April 2003 the Super Dzik expanded the range, equipped with
a Fiat Seicento 1.1-liter
54 hp unit. Since
September 2004 it has sported a new body. In 2000 the company built one prototype of the
Monoposto, and in 2001 the prototype of the Los pick-up. The Seicento Cabrio, with a 1.1 -liter 54 hp power plant,
premiered in 2004. The company is working on a 2-seat sporty cabrio, with a BMW R6 or a
Ford/Chevrolet V12 engine
and on a 7-seat limousine in retro style. Prices: kit cars - Nestor from PLN 9,500; Nestor II from PLN 10,500; Dzik from PLN
1,900; Super Dzik from PLN 4,000; ready-built vehicles
– Nestor from PLN 30,000; Nestor II from PLN 49,000; Dzik from PLN 5,000; Super Dzik from PLN 11,000.
