ALTERNATIVE CARS TG SPORTS
Program: TG Sports, Swallow 100.
Production volume in 2003 - 2 vehicles and 30 kit cars.
Originally known as Kit Kars Ltd., this firm
debuted in 1983 with a replica of the MG TF (1953-55) under the T Car name. In 2003 this model was
replaced by the modernized TG Sports. The latter model is currently adapted
for Mazda MX 5 mechanisms
and Mazda engines of 1.6 liters and 116 hp or 1.8 liters and 133 hp. In 1994 a copy of the Jaguar SS100 was added to the
product range as the Swallow 100 and fitted with a
Nissan 2.8-liter or Holden 3.8-liter engine. Prices: kit cars (chassis and
bodies) - TG Sports from USD 16,000; Swallow 100 from USD 13,500; ready-built vehicles - TG
Sports from USD 30,000; Swallow 100 starting from USD 40,000.
