The firm named URI Offroad Vehicles started in 1995 the production of the all-wheel-drive ULUV vehicles, initially made to order only, with their serial production launched in October 1999. The URI cars are offered in a pick-up or a 8- to a 11-person open-body versions. Engines available: 2.2-liter

URI ULUV

95 hp and 2.4-liter 109 hp Toyota petrol plants and two diesel engines also manufactured by Toyota: 2.4-liter 75 hp and 3.0-liter 88 hp. Since February 2004 the URI vehicles have been produced in the Republic of South Africa. Production volume is from 70 to 100 vehicles.
