Production volume in 2003 - 26,820 vehicles. Trial production of the 206 model was held at the new production plant in Porto Real in 2000, follo­wed by series production initiated in June 2001. The car now comes with a 1.0-liter 70 hp plant; a 1.4-liter 75 hp unit, or a petrol-alcohol 1.6-liter 110-113 hp engine. The 206 SW station wagon

with a 1.4-liter 75 hp or a petrol-alcohol 1.6-liter 110-115 hp engine debuted at the 2004 São Paolo

Motor Show and went into production at the beginning of 2005.
