Models produced in Brazil: Pajero TR4, L200 Cabine Dupla, L200 Sport.

Production volume in Brazil in 2003 - 2,553 pas­senger vehicles and 9,214 pick-ups. Production of the 5-seat Mitsubishi L200 Cabine Dupla 4x2/4x4 pick-up started at the Catalao plant in 1998. This is the model which debuted in Japan in 1988. The Brazilian version, restyled in 2000, is provided with a 2.5-liter 87-95-118 hp TD engine. The racing L200 R2 version comes with a 128 hp power plant, and the limited racing L200 Evolution offered since 2002 - with a 3.2-liter 168 hp TD engine. The 5-door SUV Pajero TR4 with a 2.0-liter 131 hp unit, based on the Pajero Pinin / Pajero IO, was launched in 2002, and the 5-seat L200 Sport 4x2/4x4 pick-up (with a 2.5-liter 121-141 hp turbodiesel engine), based on the Thai Mitsubishi L200 of 1996, came out in 2003.
