In 1986, Honda introduced a new make to the range of its
most luxurious models - the Acura. The cars have been sold since March 1986 mostly in the USA
and Canada. The Acura cars are produced in Japan and, since 1996, in the USA and
Canada. In 2003, the production of the CL coupe in the USA was terminated.
