At the end of 2001, the new facility in Aurangabad launched the SKD assembly operations of the Skoda Octavia I, and in 2003 they announced the launch of its CKD assembly (with 40% of Indian components). The model comes with a selection of engines including: 1.8-liter 150 hp, 2.0-liter 112

hp and TD 1.9-liter 90 hp. In June 2004 the company launched the SKD assembly of the Skoda Superb with a 2.8-liter 180 hp engine. In 2005 the Indian Fabia is due to enter the market.
