HONDA ACCORD

Production volume in 2003 - 15,763 vehicles.

The Indian company Siel and Honda formed a 40%-60% alliance in December 1995, and in December 1997 they launched the production of the City model. In 2003 the model was replaced by the City II sedan (identical to the Thai City released in 2002) with a 1.5-liter 77 hp engine. In 2001 they introduced the Indian Accord, which in 2003 had to make room for the new Accord (2.4-liter 142 hp or V6-3.0-liter 221 hp). At present Honda owns 99.9% of Honda Siel shares.
