CHINKARA 1.8 S ROADSTER

At the 2003 Mumbai Motor Show, the company unveiled a replica of the Lotus Seven (1957-73), which they christened 1.8 S Roadster. The vehicle houses a Hindustan Isuzu 1817-ccm 88 hp engine and can develop 196 km/h, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 s. At the 2004 Mumbai Motor Show, the public saw the debut of the Jeepster, which comes with the same engine. The vehicle resembles a Jeep from the 1940s.
