Set up in 1945 (originally as Bachraj Trading Ltd.), in 1960 the company launched the production of

scooters (under license from Piaggio), and in 1961 the production of 3-wheelers, the body of which

A broad selection of versions includes: DV with a 145-ccm 7.5 hp, RE Diesel with a 416-ccm 7.1 hp, FE with a 175-ccm 8 hp (made since 1999), RE CNG with a 175-ccm 6.5 hp and RE (175-ccm 8 hp -since 2000). Bajaj Auto, which belongs to Bajaj Group concern, is the biggest manufacturer of tricars in the world. Since 2004 the vehicles have been assembled in Indonesia.
