Production volume in Italy in 2003 - 98,797 vehicles. Vincenzo
Lancia set up Lancia & Cie in the year 1906, starting the production of the Lancia Tipo in the
following year. In 1969 Lancia was taken over by the Fiat concern. Since 1980 the company has been
exporting small Autobianchi (A112, Y10, Y) vehicles under its own name,
originally produced since 1969. They were sold with such success that the Autobianchi
make was terminated in 1996, also in Italy. Lancia cars are produced in Italy as
well as in France (since 1994).
