Britain in 2003: Micra, Micra C+C, Primera III (sedan, hatchback, station wagon), Almera
(hatchback).
Production volume in Great Britain in 2003 - 331,924 vehicles.
In September 1986 Nissan initiated in Great
Britain the production of the Bluebird. The model was replaced in 1990 with the Primera, in
1996 - with the Primera
II, and in 2001 - the Primera III. The Micra II hatchback was introduced in 1992, replaced with the
Micra III in 2002. The Micra C+C cabrio will be manufactured exclusively in Great Britain
since September 2005. Demonstrated in 1999, the new Almera hatchback has been in production since
January 2000,
only at
the Sunderland plant. The Tone hatchback is scheduled for launch in January 2006 and the P32L
crossover in December 2006.
