Lotus launched its famous Seven model in 1957. In 1973, production of the model, under the Super

Seven name, was taken over by Caterham, which returned to the Seven name in 2002. At present, the

following versions are offered: the Classic 1.4 K Series (with a 1.4-liter 105 hp Rover engine, maxi­mum speed - 177 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 6.5 sec), the Roadsport 1.6 K Series (with a 1.6-liter 115 hp Rover plant, maximum speed - 180 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 6.2 sec), the Roadsport XPower 1.8 K Series (with a 1.8-liter 140 hp Rover engine, maximum speed - 200 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 5.3 sec), the Roadsport XPower 1.8 K Series 160 (with a 1.8-liter 160 hp, unit by Rover, maximum speed - 206 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 4.9 sec), the Superlight R 300 (since 2002, with a 1.8-liter 160 hp Ro­ver engine, maximum speed - 209 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 4.7 s), SV Roadsport XPower 1.8 K Series (since 2002, with a 1.8-liter 140 hp Rover unit, maximum speed - 193 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 5.3 sec), the SV Roadsport XPower 1.8 K Series 160 (since 2002, with a 1.8-liter 160 hp Rover power plant, maximum speed - 201 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 4.9 sec), and the SV Superlight R 300 (since 2002, with a 1.8-liter 160 hp Rover plant, maximum speed - 209 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 4.7 sec). The extra ver­sions of the CSR 200 (with a 2.3-liter 200 hp Cosworth power plant, maximum speed - 225 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 3.7 sec.) and of the CSR 260 (a Cosworth 2.3-liter 260 hp plant, maximum speed - 250 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 3.1 sec), came out in 2004.
