Production volume in 2003 - 1,476 vehicles. The
company was established in 1913 and built its first prototype in the year 1914, followed by the
second in 1919. The production of a sporty „1 1/2-litre” roadster begun in 1922. Aston Martin has always been
known
for its exclusive and very expensive sport cars.
The company was bought out by Lagonda in 1949, and in 1987 by Ford.

DB7GT; Los Angeles 2 003 - DB AR1 Zagato; Detroit 2003 - AM V8 (produced since 2005 as the V8 Vantage);

Roadster; Paris 2004 – V12 Vanquish S; Geneva
2005 - V8 Vantage (serial version being the AM V8). The
production of the following models: DB7, DB7 Volante, DB7 Zagato and DB AR1
Zagato ceased at the end of 2003. Plans for the future: 2007 - a successor to the V12
Vanquish.
