Program: Cobra 289 FIA, Cobra 427 SC / 427 Roadster, Cobra 289 CRS, ACE (since 2005).

Production volume in 2003 - 20 vehicles. Established in 1901, the company Autocar & Accessories Ltd. displayed in 1903 its first passenger car prototypes: 10 HP and 20 HP. In 1904 it started the production of delivery three-wheelers named Autocarrier, in 1907 - three-wheel passenger vehicles: Sociable, and in 1911 - four-wheel convertibles AC 10 HP. In the year 1921 the company changed its name to AC. Its most famous model was the AC Cobra (1962-69), the production of which was restarted under a license agreement by the company Autokraft in the year 1978.

Autokraft gradually took over AC Cars in 1986-92 and is now offering, besides Shelby (USA), the original AC Cobra (about 150 other makers produce only Cobra’s replicas).

In the years 1994-2001 the roadster AC ACE was produced, and in 1998-2001 the coupe AC ACECA. At the Birmingham 2000 Motor Show another two versions of Cobra were shown: 212 S/C and MkIII 427. In 2001 the Cobra Centenary Eight and the coupe Mamba were introduced, and in 2002 - the Cobra 302 MkIV CRS. In 2002 the firm was taken over by AC Motor Holdings (Malta), which intends to move the production of this composite body vehicle to Malta in 2005. So far

only one prototype of the Mamba coupe has been produced. The production of the following models: Cobra 302 MkIV CRS, Cobra 212 S/C, Cobra Century Eight, Cobra MkIV 302 Superblower stopped at the turn of 2002 and 2003. In October 2003 the companies: AC Cars, Hi Tech / Superformance / South Africa and Shelby / USA formed a new strategical alliance, in which the AC company produces frames and aluminum car-bodies for Shelby, starting in 2004. At the end of 2003, the new version 289 CRS came out, and in March 2004 the Cobra 289 FIA (CSX 7500 series) and the Cobra 427 (CSX 1000 series) were introduced. A completely new model of the AC ACE is to be presented in 2005.
