MICROCAR MC1
Program: MC1, MC1 Family.
Production volume in 2003 - 7,500 vehicles. In 1978 Mini-Cat released
city cars. The company, taken over by the Jeannean Group, changed its name to
Microcar in 1980. In 1994 they produced the Newstreet cabrio. In 1997 the 2-seat Virgo had its debut,
in 2000
they
revealed the restyled Virgo 3, the 4-seat Virgo Family and the Virgo 3 Practic station
wagon, and in 2002 - the Virgo 3 Paris.
In September 2003 all these models were replaced by the completely new MC1 model with a
Lombardini 505-ccm 5.4 hp diesel unit. In 2004 the program was extended with the introduction of the
4-seat MC1 Family version, fitted with a Lombardini 505-ccm 20.4 hp engine. Price:
MC1 from EUR 9,500.
