Production volume in 2003 - 6,000 vehicles.
In 1969 Ligier unveiled their first sporty coupe - the JS1, but it was the
updated model JS2 that went into production in 1971. In 1980 the city car JS4 was brought
out. In 2000
the
Ambra had to give way to the 2-seat model Nova, which in 2003 was replaced by the
updated Nova X-Size in the following two versions: 500 (Lombardini 505-ccm 5.4 hp diesel) and 650 (Lombardini 505-ccm 18.5
hp). In September 2004 the company launched
the production of the 2-seat X-TOO hatch, with a Lombardini 505-ccm 5.4 diesel unit (45 km/h). At the 2000 Geneva Motor Show,
they unveiled the recreational Dragon Fly with a 505-ccm 18.5-21 hp, which was
launched in 2002 as the Be Up. At the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, they presented a Be Up with a
Lombardini 505-ccm 5.4 hp diesel engine, christened the Be Two. At the 2002 Paris Motor Show the public saw
the debut of the open Be Run with a 750-ccm 50 hp engine or a 505-ccm (5.4 hp diesel) unit,
production of which was launched in January 2003. Prices: Nova X-Size from EUR 11,000; Be Up from EUR 7,000.
