Heuliez appeared on the market as early as the 19th century as a
manufacturer of horse wagons. In 1925 the company launched the production of car bodies, in 1930 - busses and in 1983 - the
commissioned
production of the Citroën BX Break. At the 2002 Paris Motor Show,
Heuliez demonstrated the Peugeot 206 CC Sun Roof, and in Geneva in 2003 - the luxury Renault
Espace Confort. At the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, the world saw the premiere of the
5-seat electric car S. V. E. Cleanova Electric (90 km/h, 280-km range),
which is planned for series production. The
electric S. V. E. Cleanova II, based on the Renault Kan-goo, exhibited in Paris
in 2004,
has
been manufactured since 2005. At the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, the electric S. V. E. Cleanova III
had its debut. It is based on the Renault Scenic and boasts a 470-km range.
