Vitara, Super Carry (minivan, pick-up).
Production volume in Egypt in 2003 - 540 passenger cars and 276 pick-ups. The
company, established in 1988, has manufactured Suzuki cars since 1989, currently using 45-60% of Egyptian components.
The Vitara SUV has been released since 1993 and is presently available in a
5-door version with a 1.6-liter 96 hp engine. Between 1989 and 2001, the Swift sedan was produced.
The Super Carry, with
a 1.0-liter 44 hp power plant, is equivalent to the export
version of the Super Carry produced in Japan
in the years 1985-98.
