Production volume in Spain in 2003 - 514,788 vehicles (not including the Megane Van and Clio II Van).

Established in 1951, Fasa Renault started the pro­duction of the Renault 4 CV in 1953. In the years 1995-2002 Spain was the only producer of the Megane I coupe. In the years 1995-2003 the Megane I hatchback was released, between 1996 and 2003 - the Megan Classic sedan, and betwe­en 1998-2004 the Clio II. In 2002 the company initiated the production of the Megane II, available as a 5-door hatchback and a 3-door hatchback marketed also as a coupe. In 2003 the Megane II Grandtour station wagon was launched, and in 2004 - the Modus minivan. The Megane II Grandtour, the 3-door Megane II hatch and the Modus are made exclusively in Spain.
