Partner.
Production volume in Spain in 2003 - 47,696 passenger cars (not
including the Partner van). In 1977 the Citroën Espana factory
rolled out the Peugeot 504. In 1978 Peugeot bought the Barre-iros company from Chrysler,
which had produced its own trucks since 1958, Dodge passenger cars since 1965 and Simcas since 1966. In 1979 the company
started
to operate under its present name, but in the years 1979-87 their cars were
released under the Talbot brand name. Since 1996 the Citroën plant in Vigo has manufactured the Partner minivan,
updated in 2002. The model is not made in France. Between 1998 and 2002, the 306 sedan was produced in Spain,
and between 1997 and 2002 - the 306 Break station wagon. At the beginning of 2006, the production facility in
Madrid will launch the 207 model.
