FORD FOCUS II

Production volume in Spain in 2003 - 343,397 vehicles.
Ford passenger cars and trucks were manufactured
in Spain in the years 1920-38. In 1973 a new company was established, Ford Espana S.A.,
which initiated the production of the Fiesta model in October 1976. Since 1996 Spain has been the
only manufacturer of the small Ka. The new Fiesta hatch was launched in Spain
in December 2001. The Escort, which went into production in 1981, had to give way to the Focus I
in August 1998. The Focus II hatchback premiered at the end of 2004. In 2005 the Focus II sedan was released
for European markets and is produced only in Spain.
