Citroën started the
production of the 2CV van in Spain in 1958. In the years 1997-2004 the 5-do-or Xsara
Berlina was manufactured here and in 2004 Spain acquired from France the production of the
Xsara Break station wagon. Apart from these, Spanish facilities roll out the
following models: C15 (since
1984), Berlingo (since 1996) and Xsara Picasso
(since autumn 1999, restyled in 2004). In 2002 the plant in Madrid launched the production of the C3 and C3 Pluriel
models, and in October 2003 the public saw the premiere of the off-road Berlingo
X-TR with 4x4 drive. The C15, C3 Pluriel, Berlin-go, Xsara Break and Xsara Picasso are
not made in France.
