From October 1994 to December 1998 Steyr-Daimler-Puch manufactured the Jeep Grand Cherokee I on special order. In January 1999 the company (since 2001 operating under the name of Magna Steyr) launched the production of the Jeep Grand Cherokee II, and in March 2005 - the Grand Cherokee III.
