Since its establishment in 1907, the firm has been
known for its suspension systems and wheels. At the Essen Motor Show in 2000, Ascari presented a
new Roadster model based on the Audi TT with a turbocharged engine of 326 hp (top speed 264 km/h). In 2001 a Coupe version
with
the same power plant (275 km/h) was introduced. In addition the company also
tunes models by Audi and VW.
