In 2002 PSA and Toyota concerns entered into a
fifty-fifty alliance. In February 2005 the joint-venture, TPCA, launched the production
of the Toyota Aygo and the twin models: Peugeot 107 and Citroën C1. The company intends to reach a production volume of
100,000 vehicles of each
model annually.
