Production volume in Venezuela in 2003 - 1,718 passenger vehicles.
The Mitsubishi vehicles have been produced in
Venezuela since August 1990. In November 2004, a new Lancer, based on the Japanese Lancer Cedia
‘2003 and equipped with either a 1.6-liter 104 hp or a 2.0-liter 124 hp engine, replaced
the old model by that name. In 2002, the Signo sedan debuted, powered by a 1.3-liter 76 hp unit and designed
on the basis of the Lancer VI, produced in Japan in 1996 - 2000.
