Since 1986 the company (until 2000 operating under the name SSP)
has been manufacturing electric cars. The 2-seat Optima based on the Ligier
Optima and the 2-seat station wagon Optimax based on the Ligier Optimax come
with 16.3
hp or 21.8 hp engines and can
develop 50-80
km/h
(with a range of 40-80 km). The 2-seat Ambra 2 is based on the French Ligier Ambra 2, equipped with the same
power units (speed: 100 km/h, range: 60-150 km). At the motor show in Geneva in 1997, the company unveiled the
original, sporty Biz with two electric engines delivering a total output of 122 hp. The 150 km range vehicle can
develop 205
km/h.
