BECK 550 SPYDER
Program: 550 Spyder.
Production volume in 2003 - 72 vehicles and 4 kit cars.
In 1982 Beck Development launched production of the
Spyder model – areplica of the Porsche 550 (1953-55). In 2002 assembly of the
vehicle was acquired by Chuck Beck Motorsport. Avanti, in turn, took over
production of the Lister and 904
models in 2003. The Beck 550 Spyder comes with
CKD sets made by Chamonix in Brazil. In the USA
these cars feature other transmissions and VW 1.6-liter
88 hp; 1.9-liter 125 hp or 2.2-liter 155 hp
(top speed of 225 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 5.3 s).
