Production volume in 2003 - approx. 100 vehicles/kit cars.
This is one of the oldest firms specializing in
the production of replicas. A & CA was launched in 1976 as Speciality Fiberglass Inc.
and presented a kit car replica of the Chevrolet Corvette. In 1991 A & CA acquired Antique & Classic, a producer
of kit cars since 1972. Replicas included in the program - the SS 100 (=Jaguar SS 100 1935-39), XK 120 (=Jaguar XK 120 1948-
54), 427 Cobra (=AC Cobra 1962-69), the 1934 Ford Coupe and the 1941 Willys Coupe - are fitted with
their own original chassis, adapted for Ford or Chevrolet engines. These
vehicles may be purchased as kit cars or ready--built vehicles. In 1998 the Chevrolet Coupe
of 1934-35
was
introduced to the production line-up, followed in 1999 by a copy of the 1932 Ford Roadster and in
2000 by a replica of the 1941 Willys Pick-up.
