Piontek Spyder was produced from 1990-93 by Piontek and later by Sportech International in
Hawaii from 1993-97. Established in 1992, the company AC Propulsion assumed control of Piontek
Spyder roadster production in 1997. This model debuted as the AC Propulsion Tzero in 1997 in a Los Angeles
showroom. It features an electric engine with a power of 200 hp that develops a
speed of 123
km/h
(acceleration of 0-100 in 4.6 s, range of 193 km). The vehicle has been available since 2000.
