4-Doors, 4-Doors Pickup, Pickup), Al-Dhabi / Sherpa 2,5.
In the set up in 2001 AMV company, a prototype of an
off-road vehicle called Napoleon was constructed. At the armament IDEX Show in
Abu Dhabi in March 2003, its serial version christened Al-Dhabi was presented. It was renamed to 170M in 2004. The vehicle
comes
with the 4.1-liter 150 hp (140 km/h) Renault Trucks turbodiesel engine, and is available in five basic
body versions: the opened 4-seat 4-Doors Base, the enclosed 4-Doors, the
4-Doors Pickup, and the Pickup as a chassis/cabin construction. Since 2004, a closed-body 320C
(Civilian) version has been offered. As its name suggests, it is designated for
a civilian use and is equipped with a 320 hp engine fitted to a recently designed body. At
the end of 2004, the company launched a small, 2-seat Buggy, equipped with 1.6-liter, 2.0-liter
or 3.0-liter Nissan engines. In February 2005, the military 4-seat vehicle
called Al-Dhabi/Sherpa 2,5 was shown, being a joint project of Renault Trucks and
AMV.
