Mazda three-wheelers were first assembled in Thailand in 1950. Between 1975 and 1998 Mazda vehicles were manufactured by Sukosol and Mazda Motor. In 1995 Mazda (45%) and Ford (45%) brought their business under one corporate roof - the AutoAlliance (Thailand) partnership, which in December 1998 launched the production of the new 2/2+2/5-seat Fighter / Bravo / B Series pick-up, accommodating a wide range of the follo­wing engines: 2.6-liter 122-125 hp, TD 2.5-liter 84-90 hp, D 2.9-liter 102 hp and TD 2.5-liter 109- 121 hp (4x2 / 4x4). The vehicle, updated in 2002, is also exported to European markets.
