Established in 1995, the company built several prototypes of the exclusive CC coupe in the
years 1996-2000.
In 2002 the modernized and
restyled CC 8S went into commissioned production, fitted with a 4.7-liter 655 hp power plant. The
vehicle weighs 900 kg, develops 390 km/h and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 s. At the 2004 Geneva Motor Show the company
unveiled the
modernized CCR with a 4.7-liter 806 hp unit, exceeding 395 km/h and boasting 0-100 km/h in 3.2 s. acceleration.
This Koenigsegg model is the sixth fastest vehicle in the world licensed on
public roads, rated after the Dauer 962 Le Mans, the SSC SC/8T, the Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron and the Lotec
Sirius. Prices: CC 8S from EUR 425,000; CCR from EUR 458,000.
