EL MOTORS 401 COUPE

Established in 1994, the company presented its first
model -
the
Volga 21
RCM - in 1997. At the 1999 Moscow Motor Show,
the firm unveiled the fastest Russian car - Coupe AVD with two Yamaha power
plants (a 1.0-liter 150 hp and a 1.0-liter 150 hp). Produced by request, the vehicle develops a top
speed of over 300 km/h (0-100 km/h in 4.0 sec). At the 1999 Moscow Motor Show, the company presented the 401 Coupe model in
the fashion of
the 401
Moskvich
of the 1950s
(with a
2.5-liter 192 hp BMW plant), and in 2001 - Buggy based on the Mitsubishi Pajero. New models are
being prepared: a limousine in the fashion of the GAZ 12 ZIM based on the Toyota Land
Cruiser 80,
and the
Roadster Mk II with a V8/V12 BMW power plant. Price: 401 Coupe from USD 15,000.
