The Retro-Style company, founded in 1995, in 2002 constructed in
Kirgistan the first two prototypes of the off-road Barkhan Big 4x4 vehicle. Also in 2002, the license for this
car was bought by Retro-Style Bolshoi company. The Barkhan has been produced in
Moscow since 2003. The car is produced on the chassis of the GAZ 66,
is equipped with a 4.3-liter 115 hp ZMZ plant and
comes as a 7- to 11-seat
station wagon or as
a 7-seat Double Cab pick-up.
