Established in 1974, Isuzu has produced the Pan­ther station wagon since 1991, alongside truck models. In September 2000 the Panther was re­placed by an entirely new 10-seater Panther in Au­gust 2004, powered by a 2.5-liter 74-78 hp die­sel unit or a 2.5-liter 86 hp turbo diesel power plant.
