Production volume in Taiwan in 2003 - 15,007 passenger vehicles. Ford Lio Ho Motor has manufactured, alongside its own cars, Mazda vehicles since 1987. The 323 Protege model was manufactured in 1998-2004. In 2001 the company’s range was expanded by the 323 called the Isamu, designed with an original front, to be replaced in 2003 by the new Isamu Gen­ki model, available with a 1.6-liter 106 hp engine. The Isamu Genki was again restyled in December 2004. In June 2004 the production of the sedan 3-Series began, which came with 1.6-liter 107 hp or 2.0-liter 144 hp power plants. Since 2001 the Premacy minivan has been offered with a 2.0-liter 142 hp engine. In 2002 the SUV Tribute, equipped with a 2.3-liter 157 hp or 3.0-liter 204 hp unit, was re­leased, and in 2003 - its restyled Oshyare version with a 3.0-liter 204 hp plant.
