Sanfu Motors assembled Hyundai Accent sedans in the years 1997-99. From February 2001 till March 2003, Chinchun assembled Hyundai XG sedans. Since August 2002, the San Yang company has manufactured Hyundai Elantra sedans, equipped with 1.6-liter 107 hp or 1.8-liter 132 hp engines, since May 2003 - Matrix minivans with 1.6-liter 103 hp or 1.8-liter 122 hp plants, since April 2003 - XG sedans with a 2.0-liter 148 hp V6, since February 2004 - Getz hatchbacks with a 1.3-liter 81 hp unit, and since 2005 - Tucson SUVs. The San Yang firm, established in 1954, produced Honda vehicles in the years 1979-2002.
