The company Zhengzhou Nissan has been producing Nissan SUVs and pick-ups since 1995 (see -Zhengzhou Nissan). Since 2004, 51% of the company has belonged to Dongfeng Motor Co. Ltd. In the years 1997-2000, Yunbao assembled Nissan Bluebird and Patrol GR vehicles under the Yunbao make. In March 2000, Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Yulon from Taiwan (25%, since 2001 - 36%), Jingan Automotive and Yunbao Automotive established the Fengshen Automobile company. Since 2003, 60% of it has belonged to the Dongfeng Motor Co. Ltd, and 40% - to Yulon. From March 2000 to 2001, the company produced the EQ 7200 sedans under the Fengshen make and the license of the Nissan Bluebird 1991-96. The new, original Bluebird EQ 7200-II under the Fengshen make debuted in May 2001. The modernized Bluebird EQ 7200-III version appeared under the Nissan make first in 2003. In August 2004, it was replaced by the restyled Bluebird EQ 7200-IV with a 2.0-liter 146 hp plant. In August 2002, Nissan and Dongfeng Motor Corporation established a 50% / 50% partnership under the Dongfeng Motor Co. Ltd. name, which continues production of the Dongfeng, Chenglong, etc. The company started producing the Nissan Yangyuang Sunny, restyled in January 2005, with a 2.0-liter 146 hp engine, based on the Japanese Bluebird Sulphy, in June 2003. The Tianlai Teana sedan with a 2.3-liter 172 hp or a 3.5-liter 245 hp V6 unit, came out in September 2004. The Chinese Cu­be and the Bluebird will come out in 2006. hp plant started in March 2005, and in September 2005 - of the Tidda hatchbacks with the same engine. In 2007, Nissan wants to produce 400,000 passenger vehicles in China altogether.
